Norcem R&D
Norcem R&D is in charge of innovative projects related to production of cement and concrete technology. The two main focus areas are environmental friendly production of cement and developing improved cement qualities.
The projects are self-driven or run in close co-operation with our customers (concrete producers, builders, contractors), other suppliers (additives, aggregates), the cement plants, research centers, universitites / colleges, consultants and public authoritites in Norway and abroad.
We focus on a varety of topics, e.g. Concrete Life cycle, environmental qualitites and duarbility.
Standards and business cooperation
Norcem R&D looks after some of Norcem's and the concrete business' interests when it comes to standards and business cooperation.
At the moment, we are:
Participating in work related to various publications. The Norwegian Concrete Institute is responsible.
Participating in The Norwegian Concrete Institute's Standing Committe on Environmental Affairs
